Local students need your help!

Partners For New Generations is an organization with two programs:

• tutoring in the local public schools
• and mentoring (being a friend) students at the local high schools.

We cannot meet the demand unless more volunteers sign up.
Please consider volunteering or help us by suggesting this opportunity to a person that would be interested.

The Assistance League of Los Altos is looking for some new members. 

In the past, many have come from Los Altos Newcomers. 

They staff the Costume Bank (and "no" you don't need to sew...but if you can, that's a plus). 
Their mission is to use funds from the Costume Bank to help operate a 42-unit apartment (Housing of Medical Emergencies)...and include flower arranging, baking cookies & pies, and helping with ice cream socials. 
Also...there are 6 per year Vintage Fashion Shows at local convalescent and/or senior centers where you could model, dress the models, be a commentator, or play the piano.
