This past year I have had the privilege of serving as your President. I want to thank all of you and especially the extraordinary women who offered to work with me on the Board. They did so with dedication and creativity toward their responsibilities and with a willingness to address issues as they were raised. They supported the club's activities with a spirit of cooperation and an openness to all the members.

I also want to thank all the members who participated in the programs, parties and on-going activities that make this club the success it is. Some people became more active, some tried activities they hadn't before and our true newcomers joined in with eagerness. This year's Board has several new members who I believe were enriched by taking an active part in the decisions of the club.

And a special thank you to all the members (including two of our staunch supporters The Town Crier and First Republic Bank) who so generously offered their homes to host the dinners and other gatherings. Where would we meet without you?

I wish Kay Barchas and next year's Board, another exceptional group of women, a fun time and continued success.

Summer is coming ... slowly. Some of the club's activities will take a rest during July and August, so check the newsletter for the specifics. Have a wonderful summer with your family and friends and thank you for making this past year such a rewarding experience for me.
