Our first program of the new year will feature SRI International, known as Stanford Research Institute when founded by Stanford University in 1946.
One of the world's leading independent research and technology development
organizations, SRI is perhaps best known for inventing the computer mouse, but it is also responsible for identifying Anaheim as the site for Disneyland, making ultrasound practical as a diagnostic tool, and creating intelligence systems for the war against terrorism, among many other major advances and ventures.
